About Green Innovation

Pioneering sustainable agriculture education in Sri Lanka, we bridge traditional farming wisdom with cutting-edge sustainable practices to cultivate the next generation of eco-conscious farmers.

Our Mission

To empower Sri Lankan farmers with comprehensive sustainable agriculture education that preserves environmental integrity while maximizing agricultural productivity. We believe that proper education forms the foundation for agricultural transformation that benefits both farmers and the ecosystem.

Our Vision

To become Sri Lanka's premier sustainable agriculture education institution, creating a network of environmentally conscious farmers who lead the transition toward regenerative farming practices. We envision an agricultural future where productivity and sustainability work in perfect harmony.

Our Story

Green Innovation Learning Center was founded in 2018 by a group of agricultural scientists, experienced farmers, and environmental advocates who recognized the urgent need for sustainable farming education in Sri Lanka. Our founders observed that while traditional farming knowledge was invaluable, it needed to be enhanced with modern sustainable practices to address contemporary challenges.

Starting with a small demonstration farm in the Central Province, we began offering workshops on organic farming techniques and soil conservation. The overwhelming positive response from local farming communities encouraged us to expand our programs and develop comprehensive curricula that address the diverse agricultural needs across Sri Lanka's varied climatic zones.

Today, we operate multiple training facilities across the island and have graduated over 3,000 farmers who have successfully implemented sustainable practices in their agricultural operations. Our programs have contributed to a 35% average increase in crop yields while reducing chemical input costs by 40% among our graduates.

Looking forward, we continue to innovate our educational approaches, incorporating latest research in climate-resilient agriculture, precision farming technologies, and ecosystem restoration techniques. Our commitment remains unwavering: to provide world-class agricultural education that honors Sri Lanka's rich farming heritage while preparing for a sustainable future.
