Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Green Innovation Learning Center's educational platform and services, you agree to be bound by these terms of use. These terms establish a legal agreement between you and our agricultural education institution, governing your participation in our sustainable farming, aquaculture, and climate-smart agriculture programs.

Educational Services

Course Enrollment and Access

Enrollment in our agricultural education programs grants you access to course materials, practical training sessions, and educational resources for the duration specified in your course agreement. Access to premium content and specialized equipment is subject to successful completion of prerequisite modules and compliance with safety protocols.

Certification Requirements

Certificates of completion are awarded upon successful fulfillment of all course requirements, including theoretical assessments, practical demonstrations, and field work assignments. Certification standards are maintained according to international agricultural education benchmarks and Sri Lankan agricultural authority guidelines.

Learning Environment Standards

All participants must maintain professional conduct during course activities, respect fellow students and instructors, and adhere to safety protocols during practical farming demonstrations. Disruptive behavior or violation of safety guidelines may result in suspension or termination of enrollment.

User Responsibilities

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Any unauthorized use of your account should be reported immediately to our technical support team to prevent access to your educational records and course materials.

Accurate Information

All information provided during registration and throughout your educational journey must be accurate and complete. This includes personal details, educational background, farming experience, and any health or safety considerations relevant to practical training activities.

Intellectual Property Respect

Course materials, agricultural techniques documentation, video demonstrations, and educational resources are protected by intellectual property rights. Students may use these materials for personal learning purposes but may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialize any content without explicit written permission.

Payment and Refund Policies

Course Fees

All course fees are payable in Sri Lankan Rupees according to the payment schedule outlined during enrollment. Fees include access to theoretical materials, practical training sessions, basic equipment usage, and certification upon successful completion. Additional costs may apply for specialized equipment or extended field work sessions.

Refund Eligibility

Refund requests may be considered within the first two weeks of course commencement, provided that no practical training sessions have been attended and no course materials have been downloaded. Refunds are processed within thirty business days and may be subject to administrative fees to cover processing costs.

Payment Plan Options

Extended payment plans are available for qualifying students, particularly those from farming communities seeking to enhance their agricultural knowledge. Payment arrangements must be confirmed before course commencement and may require additional documentation regarding financial circumstances.

Content and Materials

Educational Content Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date agricultural information, farming techniques and best practices may vary based on local conditions, climate variations, and individual farm circumstances. Students are encouraged to adapt learned techniques to their specific agricultural contexts and consult with local agricultural experts when implementing new practices.

Content Updates

Course materials are regularly updated to reflect advances in sustainable agriculture, changes in agricultural regulations, and emerging farming technologies. Students enrolled in courses receive access to updated materials throughout their enrollment period and for six months following course completion.

Third-Party Resources

Our educational platform may include links to external agricultural resources, research publications, and partner organizations. While these resources are carefully selected for their educational value, we do not control their content and are not responsible for information or services provided by third-party sources.

Practical Training and Safety

Safety Protocols

All practical training activities are conducted according to established safety protocols and international agricultural education standards. Students must complete safety orientation sessions before participating in field work, equipment operation, or chemical handling demonstrations related to sustainable farming practices.

Liability and Insurance

While comprehensive safety measures are in place, students participate in practical training activities at their own risk. We maintain appropriate insurance coverage for educational activities, but students are encouraged to verify their personal insurance coverage for educational and agricultural activities.

Equipment and Facility Usage

Access to specialized agricultural equipment, laboratory facilities, and demonstration plots is provided for educational purposes under supervised conditions. Students are responsible for following usage guidelines and reporting any damage or safety concerns immediately to instructional staff.

Academic Integrity

Original Work Standards

All assignments, projects, and assessments must represent your own work and understanding of agricultural concepts. While collaboration and knowledge sharing are encouraged in appropriate contexts, individual assessments must reflect personal learning and comprehension of course materials.

Resource Attribution

When referencing external agricultural research, traditional farming practices, or expert knowledge in course assignments, proper attribution must be provided. This includes acknowledging local farmers, agricultural cooperatives, and research institutions that contribute to your learning experience.

Platform Usage

Acceptable Use

Our educational platform should be used exclusively for legitimate educational purposes related to sustainable agriculture and farming education. Prohibited activities include attempting to access unauthorized areas, interfering with other users' learning experiences, or using the platform for commercial solicitation.

Technical Requirements

Optimal platform performance requires a stable internet connection and updated web browser software. While we strive to maintain platform availability, occasional maintenance periods and technical updates may temporarily limit access to educational materials.

Termination and Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our educational services for violations of these terms, non-payment of fees, or behavior that disrupts the learning environment. Students who violate academic integrity policies or safety protocols may face immediate suspension pending investigation.

Upon termination, access to course materials and platform resources will be revoked, though completed certifications remain valid. Students may appeal termination decisions through our formal review process within thirty days of notification.

Limitation of Liability

Green Innovation Learning Center provides educational services to enhance agricultural knowledge and skills. While we maintain high educational standards, we cannot guarantee specific farming outcomes, crop yields, or financial returns from implementing learned techniques. Agricultural success depends on numerous factors beyond educational training, including weather conditions, market fluctuations, and local agricultural policies.

Modifications to Terms

These terms of use may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our educational services, legal requirements, or industry standards. Significant changes will be communicated to enrolled students through platform notifications and will take effect thirty days after notification unless immediate implementation is required by law.
